CT Thru‑Tubing Retrievable Packer offers a solution for performing remedial and stimulation operations in wells without pulling the production tubing. The Packer functions efficiently with tubing pressure and minimal manipulation, enabling its operation on coiled tubing or threaded tubing. An inflatable packing element is incorporated into the packer, ensuring it can pass through the production tubing. Once in position, it seals off the casing below and returns to its original size upon deflation, making retrieval through the production tubing possible.

This packer provides a pull equalization function, typically used before deflation. To equalize pressure across the packer, tension is applied to the tubing to shear the screws and open ports above the packer. Once equalization is achieved, set‑down weight is applied to the packer, and tension is re‑applied to shear the release sleeve screws, allowing for deflation and subsequent retrieval of the packer.
